New Océ Software Certification Program

Atlas Software first partner to be awarded certification

Poing, Germany, 26 January 2006—Océ, a leading global provider of Digital Document Solutions, has launched a new Software Certification Program in its drive to ensure fully integrated solutions with best-of-breed components—whether of Océ or third-party origin. The first company to receive Certified Preferred Partner status is Atlas Software B.V., a Dutch-based software partner for personalised printing applications.

Businesses need a software solution that can be relied upon to work perfectly with their printers and make full use of printer functionality. Which is why Océ has launched its Software Certification Program: to make sure customers derive maximum value from their business investment. Partner software products are subjected to a tough series of tests to verify that they work perfectly with Océ hardware and software solutions. The value for customers: the security of a certified complete solution.

First past the post is Atlas Software, awarded with the Océ Functional Compliance Certificate for their software product Printshop Mail 5.0 with Océ VarioPrint digital printing systems. Both Océ and Atlas are confident that certification is additional proof to customers of their ability to fully address workflow security requirements and deliver security of investment for the future.

Proven product combinations

“At Océ we believe in open systems and cooperation with partners. With this certification program we offer our customers an additional instrument to ensure that their investment in Océ solutions is sound and solid, based on proven product combinations and skilful document management processes”, says Erik van Deurzen, Director of Océ’s Professional Services Operations. “Investment decisions are not taken easily these days. This program conveys a clear message to our customers that Océ offers solutions they can rely and build business on. We are especially pleased that Atlas, as one of our preferred partners of many years, has now passed the test cycles so successfully.  This certification will benefit both our organisations.”

“While PrintShop Mail is acknowledged as the first certified third-party product of the Océ Printer Portfolio, Atlas Software is privileged to be appointed as a Certified Preferred Partner. It is an endorsement of Atlas' solutions and the contributions we are making to simplify the digital print workflow,” said Harry Raaphorst, MD of Atlas Software. “Atlas Software enhances creative variable data publishing while maintaining efficient workflow and optimised output to help all users unlock the potential of their Océ digital printers for an increased ROI.”
